As the year trucks along, so does the October 1st start date for PDPM. Are you prepared?  Our partner BKD has put on several presentations. EHR vendors are re-tooling their systems and also providing webinars and CMS continues to pour out information to providers. As we head into the final three months – be sure to begin PDPM best practices.  At the very least, ensure that all new admissions have an admitting diagnosis code that is not “returned to provider.”

Is there anything that you are unsure of? Feel free to send a question to reimbursement@leadingagekansas.org, if we begin seeing a trend in topics, we will make sure to send out topic-specific information to keep you up to speed.
