Bring the best players in your business office to our July 23 webinar: The Denial “Playbook” and Appeal Strategy to elevate your appeals processes and recover revenue after receiving a denial from a payer. Presenter Harrison Cobb with MCA will guide participants through a structured approach to appeals, beginning with root cause analysis and emphasizing the importance of correctly categorizing denials as either technical or clinical to determine the appropriate response. From there, attendees will navigate the urgency of the timely filing clock, with specific attention to Kansas deadlines for submitting appeals. The session will then explore how to craft a strong, evidence-based appeal letter that clearly supports the claim and improves the likelihood of reversal. Finally, it will outline the progression of Level 1 through Level 3 appeals, helping attendees understand when continued pursuit is worthwhile and when it may be more strategic to stop chasing a claim.

Session Details:

  • July 23 from 1:00-2:00 PM (CST)
  • Webinar hosted on Zoom
