The Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) will offer a webinar on January 30th at 11:30 AM CT on “Responding to a Growing Demographic: Supporting Older Adult Populations Within the Criminal Justice System.”
The webinar will focus on supporting older adults who have criminal justice involvement, both those currently incarcerated and those who are released and re-entering the community. These individuals face some unique medical, mental health, social support, and legal challenges.
