LeadingAge Kansas has recently partnered with Puente Marketing who will be conducting a culturally competent aggregated survey of member nurses and aides working in nursing homes, long-term care units of hospitals and assisted living residences to gauge job satisfaction. Through this research, we hope to drill down further to find out what motivates our employees to stay and why they leave. We hope to identify if there are any trends in certain parts of the state that are impacting our ability to attract and retain a quality workforce. The results with help guide our advocacy and education efforts at the Association. Puente will also present the findings at our 2018 Spring Conference and Expo in April.

We recently reached out to primary contacts of our members to see if their organizations would like to participate in the survey. We currently have over 20 members who have already agreed to help us! Don’t be left out of this important research. If you are interested in helping us, please contact Dana Weaver for more information. Your responsibilities will be to help us get the survey link out to your nurses and aides. The survey will open on January 18 and run through January 26.
