The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration is hosting a webinar on electronically submitting workplace injury and illness data using the Injury Tracking Application on February 7th at 12:00 PM CST. Registration is free.

Under a rule that took effect January 1st, establishments with 100 or more employees in certain designated industry categories need to electronically submit information from their OSHA Forms 300 and 301 to OSHA on an annual basis.  The due date to submit information covering calendar year 2023 is March 2, 2024.  This LeadingAge article provides a summary of the new requirements, with links to OSHA webpages with additional information.

Online aids, including videos, are available from OSHA to help employers navigate the data submission process.   If your establishment is in a State Plan state (versus being under federal OSHA jurisdiction), establishments should review information available from their state occupational safety and health agency relating to this requirement.
