Many LeadingAge Kansas member nursing homes have made great progress in reducing long-stay resident off-label antipsychotic medication use. 44 members have achieved below 10%, a significant change from 30 members in 2017. As you can see from the lists below, these “super achievers” are in urban, rural and frontier locations throughout the state, and vary in size from very small to quite large. Unfortunately we have 35 members above 16%, the Kansas average long-stay off-label antipsychotic medication use. LeadingAge Kansas encourages members with above average use to reach out to any of the members below to find out how they are doing it.
