Larksfield’s 5-star health care center has a new Administrator. Larksfield Place Retirement Community proudly introduces Karen Wilkerson as Health Care Center Administrator.

Ms. Wilkerson has over 25 years of management experience and has been a licensed administrator for almost 20 years. Karen has a wealth of experience working with seniors and is going to be a tremendous asset to our team!

Ms. Wilkerson’s responsibilities will include overseeing all day-to-day aspects of running a 5-star skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. She will work directly with employees, residents, and residents’ families to ensure that residents get the best care possible.

While at Larksfield Place Health Care, Ms. Wilkerson said she wants to help to promote and encourage a continued environment of resident happiness and quality care. Ms. Wilkerson said she is grateful and excited for the opportunity to serve as Larksfield nursing and rehabilitation Administrator. “I am passionate about long-term care and look forward to helping provide a home-like atmosphere for the residents.”

In her free time, Karen is a blogger. She has a blog called “Never Too Old to Dream” that has been inspired by some of the residents and patients she has met along her professional journey. The blog encourages people not to wait until retirement to really start living life.
