This session will cover the basics to understand the principles and operations of ICD-10 diagnostic codes under the Patient-Driven Payment Model.

The objectives of this webinar are:

  • Understand the increased importance of ICD-10 coding and documentation alignment under PDPM.
  • Identify general ICD-10 CM coding guidelines and practices.
  • Walk through examples of how to use the ICD-10 code book, including the code category instructions.

This education consists of three pre-recorded presentations totaling a little over an hour.
