  • The end of the year is fast approaching and with it comes a few deadlines.  The largest is the new MBI (Medicare Beneficiary Identifier) changeover from CMS.  Beginning January 1, CMS will end the transition period and require the new MBI number on all Medicare claims, regardless of the date of service.  The claims will otherwise be rejected. It is important validate these new numbers in your triple check process.
