The LeadingAge Kansas Board of Directors have approved the finalized priorities list for the upcoming legislative session. The Government Affairs team will be leading the way on reimbursement requests such as rebasing and an additional year of the Medicaid add-on for nursing facilities, addressing the Hospice 5% haircut, and PACE rebasing.  

The team will also engage on issues related to involuntary discharge and staffing agency reforms. There will be numerous other issues to monitor this session including oral health and Medicaid expansion. Find the full list of priorities here.
