The National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) in partnership with the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) have just released two new tools that will be very helpful to AITs and their preceptors. These tools are free to use.  (Note: Charging a fee for the course material as a stand-alone program is prohibited by NAB and ACHCA.)

AITs and new administrators report a large variation in preceptor engagement and discharge of duties.  LeadingAge Kansas highly encourages AIT preceptors to the use these new tools to review and enhance fulfillment of their responsibilities to their AITs.

For more information about the NAB/ACHCA AIT and/or Preceptor training programs or the Career Development Toolkit, please contact NAB or ACHCA.
