Watch for KDHE Letter for POC Test Distribution
KDHE has amassed a large inventory of COVID-19 POC tests that they plan to distribute to adult care homes later this month. Please watch for a message from KDADS over KOTA with more distribution details. KDHE estimates that they will be able to provide 35 tests per licensed bed, which can be used however needed (residents, staff, visitors).

Kansas COVID-19 Vaccination Overview as of 5/4/2022   

  • 4,355,956 Total Doses Reported as Administered      
    – First Dose: 1,965,782
    – Second Dose: 1,597,523
    – Third Dose: 792,652
  • 5,705,910 Total Doses Distributed      
    – State Distributed: 3,094,000
  • 62.7% of Kansans Vaccinated with One Dose    
  • 54.7% of Kansas Completed COVID-19 Vaccine Series

LeadingAge Coronavirus Update Call for Wednesday, May 4th at 2:30 PM ET
We will welcome Brendan Jackson from the CDC’s COVID-19 response team. He will talk about the CDC’s guidance on various aspects of COVID and help members on the call sort through the most essential pieces. He’ll refer to what’s new and what might change and take LeadingAge members questions.

She oversees the Partnership/Sponsorship program, recruitment and retention of the association’s provider and associate members as well as coordinating all aspects of online education. Nicole graduated from Washburn University and is a Platinum Geocacher. Her favorite thing about working at the association is to bring new partners in to help us better serve members. Along with her geocaching hobby, Nicole enjoys spending time with her dog, Blu.
