Are you a coder in the Long-Term Care setting? Are there others in your facility that need training on coding guidelines? Are you needing to learn more about the new Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) that will begin on October 1, 2019?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, the KHIMA Coding Committee with speaker, Barb Michaelis, RHIA, will present a webinar titled Long-Term Care Coding and Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) that will help with your training needs.

Webinar will be presented on Thursday, September 5th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. CT. The webinar will also be recorded for on-demand use.

Topics addressed will include:

  • Overview of PDPM

  • Definitions of type of diagnoses, i.e. admitting, primary, principal, secondary
  • Documentation needs
