Michelle Neufeld has been involved in senior care from a very young age. She started out as a “Junior Volunteer” while in elementary school and her first job was in housekeeping and laundry at age 14 – all at Pleasant View Home, where she currently serves as Administrator. Michelle joined the LeadingAge Kansas Board of Directors in the spring of 2026.
What keeps Michelle excited about serving seniors?
I love history and the past… so listening to their stories and just talking with our seniors about their knowledge is amazing.
What does Michelle enjoy about serving on our board?
I enjoy working with like-minded individuals who embrace servant leadership and are committed to supporting others.

I wear two hats in my community: nursing home administrator and city council member.
