The 2016 Policy & Leadership Conference focuses on leadership and what better leaders to provide education to than nurses? For this reason, we are offering a one-day workshop on September 26th prior to the Policy & Leadership Conference in Junction City, KS.

This workshop will provide education on the Nurse Practice Act and offer attendees the opportunity to spend the afternoon with Kelly Papa, author of Effective Nurse Leadership: Transforming Long-Term Care. Kelly will give you the tools to understand a leader’s role in creating an organizational culture that is nimble and adaptable. She will help you build the skills, tools, and approach needed to lead transformation, facilitate change and implement successful methods to create a culture that can adapt to new ideas for person-centered care, strategize ways to initiate and maintain effective culture change efforts while cultivating momentum for the development of person-centered care.

Come to this workshop to develop a framework for harnessing enthusiasm and empowering team members to encourage continuous thought leadership and innovation throughout your organization. Nurse leaders of all levels won’t want to miss out on this opportunity.
