The KC Metro Regional Healthcare Coalition held a special meeting for area long-term care providers in April. Tim Allin, Executive Director at Aberdeen Village was in attendance. He reported that the meeting was very informative with good discussion and new resources / tools shared. Allin said, “I always learn something new, like, we need to add a ‘Sink hole’ policy to our EPP… I was also reminded about signing up with the State Health Network for jurisdictional alerts. I think the more we engage with this coalition the better for LTC.” The group will reconvene next month as a steering committee to work on development of objectives specific for a LTC component of the Coalition.
