HHS Provides List of Payer Resources to Providers
On March 25, HHS shared a list of national payer contact information health care providers can use to get answers from health care plans about the availability of prospective payments or flexibilities for providers while the Change Healthcare platform is unavailable. The resource and accompanying letter, both from the Department of Health and Human Services Deputy Secretary Palm, Administrator and Assistant Secretary O’Connell of the Administration of Strategic Preparedness and Response, and Administrator Brooks-LaSure of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, urges providers to first reach out to any regional points of contacts they have for the health care plan. If providers reach out to the payer contacts and do not receive a response, the letter urges providers to contact HHScyber@hhs.gov.
The March 25 letter is here; the accompanying 36-page list of payer resources and contact information is here.

Members are encouraged to provide feedback to LeadingAge by completing a short, 7-question survey on how the Change Healthcare attack is impacting their claims submissions, payments, financial and identify any other assistance they may need. The survey will only take a few minutes and will help inform LeadingAge advocacy on members’ behalf. The survey can be found here.
