KDHE will offer several Medicaid training courses beginning October 4, 2022. The courses in this curriculum provide an overview of Kansas Medicaid which include: Medicaid Overview; History of KS Medicaid Managed Care; Medicaid Eligibility; Medicaid Eligibility – Home and Community Based Services (HCBS); Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) State Plans; Early & Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT Mandate); Kansas Medicaid Grievance, Appeals, & State Fair Hearings (G/A/SFH); Presumptive Medical Disability Team (PMDT); and Working Healthy/WORK & Work Incentives.

  • During the first week of October,  the week ofOctober 3rdtrainings will be offered in-person in the Eisenhower State Office Building (ESOB).
    • Parking information for ESOB will be sent to enrolled attendees closer to the training/s date.
  • During the final week of October, the week of October 24th, trainings will only be offered virtually.
