Parsons Presbyterian Manor got a perfect score on its annual assisted living licensing survey in August. The survey was conducted by its licensing agency, the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS).

Senior living communities that offer assisted living are surveyed by their licensing agency for compliance of regulations designed to ensure a standard of care is met.

“I am so proud of the Parsons Presbyterian Manor team,” said Maegen Pegues, executive director. “Getting zero deficiencies on a survey is very difficult anytime, but especially during a pandemic when our team is going above and beyond every day in infection control and prevention. These results are proof of our team’s hard work.”

KDADS surveys adult care homes and home plus agencies every 12 to 18 months for compliance of regulations. The regulations are designed to ensure a standard of care is met.

Parsons Presbyterian Manor is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), or life plan community, offering independent living, assisted living, long-term health care and short-term rehabilitation.
