What’s Going on With KFMC’s Long-Term Care Technical Assistance?

CMS has delayed awarding the new contract to a Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for the 12^th Scope of Work, which includes dementia and quality improvement technical assistance for long-term care providers. KFMC and the Iowa Health Care Collaborative are both bidding on the contract that will cover Kansas. There have been no lay-offs at KFMC, but there have been some voluntary resignations, including Brenda Groves.
