KDADS/HOC has made changes to the criminal record check (CRC) process to allow registries links to be accessible within the portal. When a provider submits a background check through KDADS/HOC the following three registries Kansas Nurse Aide Registry, Office of Inspector General Exclusion list, and National Sex Offender registry need to be checked. KDADS has consolidated these checks via the portal on one, consolidated page instead going to three different locations. This will save time and cost to providers by quickly identifying individuals that could already be prohibited, as well as, making sure our vulnerable population is protected.
