Governor Kelly Signs Assisted Living Week Proclamation with Larksfield Place Staff and Residents
Last Friday, six Larksfield Place staff and residents drove from Wichita to attend a ceremonial signing with Governor Laura Kelly proclaiming the week of September 8 through the 14 as Assisted Living Week in Kansas. After the signing, LeadingAge Kansas staff took them out to lunch to celebrate.
Thank you to Larksfield Place and all our assisted living members for the dedicated service you provide in your communities! See the proclamation here and pictures of the group below.
Wichita Area Candidate Meet and Greet Next Tuesday, September 10
If you have not yet done so, make sure to email Lorri Dean with the Kansas Hospital Association at ldean@kha-net.org to RSVP for the Wichita Area Candidate Meet and Greet next week Tuesday. It is a great opportunity to meet a variety of candidates and learn about their backgrounds in healthcare. The first part of the Meet and Greet is a mix and mingle with the second part allowing candidates to give a 2-minute stump speech on their connection to healthcare. Kylee Childs and Rachel Monger from LeadingAge Kansas will be in attendance and you can contact them with any questions you may have as well. Review the invite here.
