The ASTRA Board met in August and chose the latest round of Scholarship winners. There were a total of 7 recipients who received more than $9,000 for this round.  They will be honored at the Fall Policy and Leadership Conference next week during the awards program.  This year’s winners include:

  • Skylar Hanson with Bethany Home in Lindsborg
  • Jeffery Ritcha with Schowalter Villa in Hesston
  • Taylor Rodriguez with Good Samaritan Society in Ellsworth
  • Larry Nichols with Bethany Home in Lindsborg
  • Laura Petersburg with Wichita Presbyterian Manor
  • Priscila Salinas with Villa St. Francis in Olathe
  • Robert Scott with Parkside Homes in Hillsboro

The ASTRA Board and staff would like to thank all of the generous individuals and organizations that gave money to make this possible.  Our program continues to grow and we are thrilled to be part of a community of donors to advance the education of individuals in aging services.  Special thanks goes to Central National Bank for their generous donation this year.

Congrats to all of the recipients!
