Sunflower Health Plan recently sent out an Amendment to their KanCare Participating Provider Agreement. The cover letter has the KanCare logo on it. This Amendment pertains to Sunflower’s sister company, Celtic Insurance Company, which is also owned by Centene Corporation.  Celtic has a Medicare Advantage plan that they are offering, and the amendment would assist members in becoming part of the provider network with Celtic. 

Providers are NOT required to agree to this amendment in order to maintain their contract with Sunflower for KanCare.  It is a totally separate product.

First as Administrative Coordinator and now as Associate Director of Communications & Events, Addy’s primary duties include overseeing general member communications through social media, our Weekly Member Calls, the Aging Update, and database and website maintenance. She also collaborates with the team to plan, produce, and market events across all aspects of LeadingAge Kansas, manage Continuing Education processing.. Outside of the office, Addy enjoys crafting, playing board games, video games, and DnD, and spending time with her fiancé and their two cats.
