Wichita Candidate Meet and Greet a Success

Nearly 100 individuals including candidates, association staff, and healthcare providers came together yesterday evening to discuss topics and issues impacting healthcare. After an hour of mixing and mingling between candidates and providers, candidates provided a 1-minute speech on their connection to healthcare and what they hope to accomplish in the legislature next year. LeadingAge Kansas had representation from Attica Long Term Care, Holly Noble, Cheney Golden Ages Homes, Jessica Martin, Paramount Community Living and Rehab, Gretchen Sapp, Prairie Homestead Assisted Living, Brenda Janda, and Kansas Christian Home, Justin Harland.

All members interested in learning more about candidates before the general election should register to attend the Fall Conference on September 18 for the Candidate Luncheon. Close to 25 candidates will be in attendance and ready to learn more about aging services.
