LeadingAge National provided an update regarding certain issues seen after the October 1st rollout and stated CMS acknowledged those issues were being addressed and changes should be rolled out Wednesday, November 1st.
Other issues providers have seen seem to be related to the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services’ decision to not utilize an OSA until the final transition to PDPM on July 1, 2024. LeadingAge Kansas is meeting with representatives from PointClickCare and KDADS on November 1st to address these issues and identify solutions that will not negatively impact CMI.
