- PBJ for 7/1/2019 – 9/30/2019 is due by November 14th, 2019.
- Medicare providers must start billing with the new MBI number beginning January 1, 2020, regardless of the date of service.
- Billing for PDPM starts 11/1/2019
As you prepare to bill under PDPM:
- Have you verified your diagnosis are not RTP?
- Did you complete an IPA for those patients that crossed months?
- Have you completed the MDS to include all morbidities to ensure you are getting paid for services provided?
- Have you or your software provider updated the rates and other appropriate information to ensure accuracy in billing?
As you begin to bill, please let us know reimbursement@leadingagekansas.org if you encounter any issues so that we can report to CMS and or let other providers know.
