There is a lot going on at KMH in Wichita this fall. They provided us the following update on recent and upcoming activities:
The Assisted Living and Long Term Care households have already decorated and painted their pumpkins for the judging that took place on October 17th. The winner received the coveted Traveling Pumpkin Trophy.
Activities for Long Term Care Households:
Friday, October 19th: Our Hot Wheels Club as teamed up with Serenity Hospice and will be painting a variety of wooden toys to donate to Toys For Tots for this Holiday season.
Friday, October 26th: 2nd floor Household’s Halloween Party’s.
Wednesday, October 31st: 1st floor Household’s Halloween Party’s and evening Trick-or-Treating for friends and families of our wonderful residents.
Activities for our Independent Living, Assisted Living Household’s and Towers:
Thursday, October 25th: Annual Dog Show. All Staff, Residents and Families are welcome to bring and show off their furry loved ones! Categories include Best Costume, Best Trick, Best Personality, and Dog and Owner Look Alike.
Wednesday, October 31st: Annual Halloween Party – tricks, treats and Resident and Staff Costume Contest!
