Could you use some help getting the wheels on the bus taking residents all around the town?   KDOT has a transportation grant program you should explore. The program provides a cost share for the purchase of accessible transportation and operating expenses.  Applications are for the SFY 2027 Section 5310 Transportation Grants, are now open.

The last stop (application deadline) is noon Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.

To help you along the route, our Friday, October 17 Weekly Webinar will feature a member who has successfully navigated both the application and post-award process. Tips and lessons learned will be shared to help with your grant journey. We’ve also invited a person from the KDOT grant program to join us this week (or in a coming week) to provide a program overview and answer your questions.
