One of the goals of culture change is to individualize care for all individuals living in long-term care, especially for people with dementia.  One Day Toward Culture Change presents information that will help the staff of skilled nursing communities to better understand how and why they should be resident centered, including ways to improve the quality of life for people with dementia.  There is also a break out session with the Life Enrichment Coordinator, a homemaker/Care Partner/CMA/ Staffing Coordinator and a nurse from Evergreen where they will be discussing real world examples of how to enrich the lives of the residents we serve and participants will be able to ask questions.

No matter where you are on the journey, this one day program will help your team gain inspiration, momentum and practical solutions to transform from ‘Institutional Thinking’ toward ‘Home’ and Person-Directed Living.

It takes a team to make it happen. We will educate and equip participants with a practical, reality-based plan to jump-start your community toward culture change.
