Midland Care Connection, Inc. is pleased to announce the hiring of Mark A. Wiles, MD as Chief Medical Officer.

In his new role, Dr. Wiles will be responsible for the oversight, direction and delivery of participant/patient care, oversight of the medical provider quality assessment and performance improvement program. He also will provide leadership and supervision to the medical staff with the goal of achieving the best clinical outcomes possible for all participants/patients.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Wiles to the Midland Care team. His experience and exposure to hospice, palliative care and the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) make him a great fit for Midland Care,” said Shawn Sullivan, President and CEO of Midland Care.

Dr. Wiles joins Midland Care with over 15 years of post-acute and senior care experience. He is a graduate of The University of Kansas School of Medicine and Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency Program. He is board certified in family medicine and hospice and palliative medicine with extensive work as a hospice and palliative medicine specialist throughout the full continuum of care. Director in Nebraska and Iowa, Dr. Wiles has grown and developed teams, including those at multiple PACE sites, skilled nursing facilities, correctional institutions, and within multiple healthcare systems.
