Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community welcomed the holiday season with a heartfelt Thanksgiving Luncheon dedicated to celebrating the residents who make our community so special. The luncheon took place across all levels of care, allowing residents in Hidden Meadows, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing to enjoy a festive meal surrounded by friends, familiar staff, and the comforts of home.

The event was designed to reflect the spirit of gratitude that is deeply rooted in Kansas traditions of hospitality and community care. Staff from multiple departments came together to coordinate meal service, create a warm atmosphere, and ensure every resident felt valued and included. From thoughtful preparation to the meaningful conversations shared over the meal, the day was filled with connection and appreciation.

Sunshine Meadows also extends sincere thanks to the team members who contributed their time and talents to make the luncheon a success. Their dedication highlights the importance of compassionate teamwork within long-term care communities, especially during the holiday season.

As we continue into the winter months, Sunshine Meadows remains grateful for the opportunity to serve and uplift the residents entrusted to our care. Celebrations like this luncheon remind us why we are committed to this work and how fortunate we are to be part of such a vibrant, resilient community.

Thank you to Hannah Grace, Life Enrichment Director at Sunshine Meadows, for sharing this story with our members.
