It’s scholarship time and we need your help to promote the 2021 LeadingAge Kansas Foundation Scholarship in your organization.  This unique program provides scholarships to help those passionate about aging services pursue their goals, but people cannot apply if they do not know about it. Here is how you can help spread the word.

  •  Watch your mail for the scholarship informational letter and promotional materials.
  • Talk about the scholarship opportunity. This opportunity is available to any full or part time employee wanting to take a class, get a certification or specialization, earn a degree or take additional training so they can better serve the elders in your organization. Visit the LeadingAge Kansas Foundation website to learn more.
    • Share the opportunity in a team meeting and encourage people to apply.
    • Promote it in an e-blast, text message or employee newsletter.
    • Visit one on one with those you think might be interested.
  • Join the Scholarship Q&A Zoom meeting on June 15th at 10:00 CST and have interested team members join with you.  To join the meeting visit https://zoom.us/j/93790623817

If you have questions about the scholarship or how to promote it in your organization, contact Stephanie Gfeller at stephanie@leadingagekansas.org  or 785-233-7443.
