CMS has not revised the MDS since the start of the pandemic which is leading to significant changes post-pandemic. CMS has already released a draft version of the MDS Item Sets and anticipates releasing the draft Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) manual soon. This webinar will provide attendees updated coding and instructions based on the draft RAI manual to assist nursing home providers with preparation for the final release October 1, 2023, and aid in successful implementation. The session will also identify the items from the IMPACT Act of 2014 that are now part of the MDS 3.0 v1.18.11 and their importance for LTC.
