Kansas experiences a wide variety of summertime severe weather, including: tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail, and flash flooding.

Residents are encouraged to use this week to review their severe weather safety plans.

The state fire drill is Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 10 AM. If you missed it, hold another drill and practice what you would do as if the event was REAL.

Over the years, Rachel has served in many volunteer roles in her community and in the state of Kansas to support senior needs, aging services education, and community mental health services.
