Thanks to our members who participated in the Statewide Employee Satisfaction Survey conducted earlier this year. We had over 470 CNAs and Nurses participate in our online survey. We received preliminary results last week from our partner, Puente Marketing who conducted the survey.

What have we learned so far?

  1. Nurses and aides serve in their roles out of a desire to help others.
  2. Nurses and aides leave their jobs most often due to low pay and poor leadership.
  3. The single greatest impact on job retention would be adding more staff and supports to cover the needs of the organization.

Puente Marketing is in the process of conducting focus groups to drill down on some of the answers to get additional information. Join us at the Spring Conference and Expo in Wichita April 24th and 25th to hear the results presented and get your questions answered.
