The Master of Arts in Aging Studies program at Wichita State University is seeking community partners and practicum sites to collaborate with their graduate students on applied learning projects. As part of their 30-credit hour online MA in Aging Studies, students choose between a practicum experience or a portfolio-based applied learning project as their culminating option. The practicum experience is on-site and could entail a leadership experience within any organization or more specifically, an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) practicum.

Because the program is fully online, Wichita State enrolls students from across the state—and expanding their network of applied learning opportunities is essential to meeting the growing needs of Kansas’ aging services industry. Partnering with the program allows your organization to benefit from the skills and insights of emerging professionals while contributing to the development of the next generation of aging specialists.

WSU welcomes partnerships with senior living communities, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, and other aging-focused agencies. If you’re interested in hosting a practicum student (on-site) or collaborating on an applied learning project (remote), let’s connect!
