Pine Village Hires Julie Kern as Director of Marketing
Julie Kern has been named the Director of Marketing & Independent Living for Pine Village in Moundridge, KS. Kern will be taking on the responsibilities of selling and promoting the independent living homes to prospect residents, as well as managing the marketing and public relations.
“We are so excited to have Julie join our team,” said Shelby Shaw, Administrator. “Julie brings a lot of energy and design experience to the position. We look forward to the new ideas she offers.”
Kern recently graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelors degree in graphic design. Prior to joining the Pine Village team, Kern was manager and head of marketing and promotions at The Trophy Room in Emporia, where she had the opportunity to be a part of the “Emporia Main Street” committee. Kern also does freelance graphic design. She recently relocated to Salina to be closer to her fiancé, Chris. The couple is planning a 2017 wedding.
