This program is intended to provide funding to HCBS providers to distribute as retention bonuses to their workers, in proportion to the number of HCBS clients that the provider organization serves. The team at KDADS is continuing the process of approving the applications, and acknowledges that registering with SAM.gov has presented some challenges for HCBS providers. If you are in the middle of obtaining a UEI and/or registering with SAM.gov, please email KDADS.Workforce@ks.gov, so they know where you are in the process. If you have not begun the process of registering with SAM.gov or have other questions about the HCBS Incentive Program email KDADS.Workforce@ks.gov. KDADS will be sending the beneficiary agreements, containing your allocated amount and compliance requirements, to your organization’s point of contact listed in your application next week along with the closeout survey. Please be sure to include your TIN number on the agreement. The agreements must be signed by the authorized representative at your agency. The deadline for receipt of the signed agreements to KDADS.Workforce@ks.gov is no later than June 30, 2022.
