Legislators from both the House and Senate have been selected to serve on the interim Special Committee on Nursing Facility Rate Methodology. This committee was added as a budget proviso after stakeholder feedback during the 2023 legislative session to ensure a committee dedicated to considering “alternative methods for reimbursement that support the longevity of Kansas nursing facilities” took place.
