The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) sent an unwinding notice on Wednesday, June 28th related to the ending of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE). This notice outlines provisions in Appendix K of the state’s Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) programs that were allowed modifications during the pandemic and will be returning to normal operations by November 11, 2023.

With a professional background in law enforcement and child welfare, and a successful 2023 legislative practicum with the Children's Alliance of Kansas, she brings rich professional experience to her role as Director of Government Affairs, and a front-line perspective on the needs of health and human services providers in our state.
