Our Requirements of Participation for Phase II Webinar Series started this week. If you signed up for the Phase 1 series, you are not automatically registered for Phase 2.  They are two separate registrations.

We strongly encourage you to attend to learn more about Phase II. Even though enforcement on some of the regulations will be delayed, it is not advisable to wait to understand what you will ultimately be expected to comply with.

THE ELEMENTS OF PHASE 2 – COMPLIANCE FOR NOVEMBER 28TH – PART 1 (1.0 CEU IN ADMINISTRATION)
Part 1 of the Final Rule Series will introduce the Requirements for Participation for Phase 2 from an Operator’s Perspective. This webinar will provide a high level overview of the different sections of the final rule that are due onNovember 28, 2017.

QUALITY ASSURANCE & PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT (QAPI) – PART 2 (1.0 CEU IN ADMINISTRATION)
This webinar will offer implementation strategies for leaders in the creation and submission of your initial QAPI plan.

INFECTION CONTROL, ANTIBIOTIC STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM – PART 3 (1.0 CEU IN RESIDENT CARE)
This webinar will be a compelling 60-minute deep dive into the required elements of a compliant antibiotic stewardship program. It will provide information on setting up a successful program for antibiotic stewardship for your skilled nursing facility.

ADMISSION, TRANSFER, AND DISCHARGE – PART 4 (1.0 CEU IN RESIDENT CARE)
This webinar will include an explanation of the regulations for admission, transfer, and discharge compliance. It will provide participants with valuable information on resident admissions, transfers internally and externally, and proper discharge planning to assist providers with compliance.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES – PART 5 (1.0 CEU IN RESIDENT CARE)
Part 5 of the Final Rule Series will introduce new concepts and requirements for behavioral health services in skilled nursing facilities. This webinar will enhance the participants’ knowledge of behavioral health related to setting up a model of services for behavioral health.

DEVELOPING COMPETENCY AND SKILL ABILITIES FOR NURSING STAFF – PART 6 (1.0 CEU IN ADMINISTRATION)
Part 6 of the Final Rule Series for this action packed education session will introduce regulatory guidance regarding competencies and skills for nursing staff members. This webinar will provide participants with knowledge on how to develop the skills of nursing staff according to the new and revised rules and regulations.

FACILITY WIDE RESOURCE ASSESSMENT – PART 7 (1.0 CEU IN ADMINISTRATION)
Part 7 of the Final Rule Series will include an action packed education session on creating your facility wide resource assessment. This webinar will provide participants with the key elements required in the facility assessment and also operational strategies to create and implement the plan.

QUALITY OF CARE AND LIFE – PART 8 (1.0 CEU IN ADMINISTRATION)
Part 8 of the Final Rule Series will highlight Phase 2 regulations including pharmacy services, drug regimen review, smoking, nutrition services, resident rights, abuse prevention, and dental services. This webinar will assist skilled nursing facilities in reviewing and revising policies to include the new language from the Phase 2 regulations.

Please note: Participants are paying for one connection and you have two separate dates for each webinar in case you are not able to make the first airing of the webinar. If you connect both times, you will be billed for an additional connection for the entire series ($500) as that is how we are billed. In addition, participants cannot have multiple people viewing for one price from different computers. We suggest getting as many people around a computer as you can to view the webinars.
