CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics’ (NCHS) National Study of Long-Term Care Providers (NSLTCP) encourages adult day services center directors, if contacted, to complete the 2018 survey. NSLTCP is an ongoing federally funded study to report information about the characteristics of adult day services centers and the people they serve. The 2018 study is collecting information from a randomly selected sample of adult day services centers throughout the United States through Mid-February.

NCHS thanks all of you who have already completed both parts of this year’s study! Currently, about half (51%) of eligible centers have completed both the mail/web survey, as well as, the telephone interview. Your participation in both components of the survey enables NCHS to continue to serve you with reliable, trusted information, to support you in the important work you do serving participants, their families, and your communities.

Please note that LeadingAge National has endorsed this study and it provides important national and state-level information on adult day services. If you have completed the survey, or received outreach about the survey and have questions, please contact Brendan Flinn (bflinn@leadingage.org), LeadingAge’s Director of Home and Community-Based Services.
