Budgeting is an essential part of leadership, and although it can feel intimidating, it doesn’t have to. Our newly added webinar series, Making Sense of the Budget: Skills for Leaders at Every Level, is designed to give leaders at every level of your organization the skills and knowledge to help them confidently participate in the budget building and management processes that are crucial to organizational success.

Participating leaders will learn how to:

  • Understand how an organization’s business model shapes decisions and expectations and see clearly how their role fits into that larger picture.
  • Translate organizational goals into practical budget needs for their department or area of responsibility.
  • Participate confidently in the annual budget process, knowing what’s expected at each step and how leaders contribute.
  • Use their budget as a year-round leadership tool to monitor performance, understand variances, and make informed decisions.
  • Communicate budget needs and results clearly, including when making the case for new resources or changes.

This series will run February 18, March 4, and March 25, providing 4.5 hours of learning, and up to 4.5 hours of Continuing Education credit. Interested in this series for yourself or a team member? Learn more about the individual sessions and register for the series here.
