Based upon his recent fire marshal inspection, one member encourages others to check that their “push door for 15 seconds and door will open” signs are of contrasting colors (red and white or white and red) and are placed by the push bar. His inspector asked for specification sheets on all fire material, 3M red caulking for example. The inspector was also intent on finding broken outlet covers, even looking behind furniture, etc.
