LeadingAge Kansas Board elections were suspended by the Board in 2020 due to COVID madness. But we’ll “pick up the thread” this year, with elections to be held on April 22nd. Several vacancies need to be filled. The Call for Nominations closes March 5th.

LeadingAge Kansas has been “all-hands-on deck” serving members’ pandemic-related needs for education, advocacy, trouble shooting and information during the past 10 months. Now, even while we continue these efforts, it is time for the Association to seriously rethink who we are, what our overall priorities are, and how we should serve members now and in the future. This is exciting work that lies ahead for the board, in partnership with staff leadership.

We need talented, committed people to join the board to help shepherd the association at this critical time. If you want to be at the table to think about big issues, how they will impact our members’ future, and the way LeadingAge Kansas should serve, we strongly urge you to apply. Find more information and apply by clicking here.

If you have questions feel free to contact Nominating Committee Chair Nate Glendening, Board Chair Crystal Packard or Debra Zehr.
