The LeadingAge Ziegler 150 is an annual report that includes data from the largest 150 nonprofit systems in nation. In addition to ranking the organizations by size, the report provides data on a variety of system characteristics such as average annual growth rate, geographic locations, technology use, whether they provide home and community-based services or memory care, and participation in partnerships and joint ventures.
According to the report, in the last 10 years, the average annual growth rate in total units among the 150 largest nonprofit senior living systems was 3.1 percent. Most growth occurred primarily through expansion.
Three providers with campuses in Kansas were included in the LeadingAge Ziegler 150, Good Samaritan Society (#2), Ascension Senior Living (#8) and Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America (#26).
