The Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) issued a new Adverse Incident Reporting (AIR) procedure effective immediately. This is not for Long-Term Care Providers. It is for HCBS, Money Follows the Person, Mental Health, Senior Care Act, and Older Americas Act service providers. The procedure requires reporting no later than 24 hours after occurrence and provides definitions of the adverse incidents required to be reported.
