The end of February is bringing two important action items for KING Members. Applications for the Annual KING Safety Grant are due February 28, while registration for our KING Regional Rounds is open for those sessions in early March.

Submit Your KING Safety Grant Application

The KING Safety Grant is back for 2026, and we would love to receive your application. The Safety Grant Program is designed to fund specific KING member safety needs and initiatives that will enhance a culture of employee safety within the member organization. This year, the KING Board of Directors has approved a total award pool of $50,000.

  • Must be a LeadingAge Kansas and KING member in good standing to be eligible.
  • This is a matching grant: Applicants must be able to match the grant amount requested at a minimum.
  • Grant applications are considered for each of these 3 project categories:
  • Equipment: purchases of personal protective equipment, like safe shoes, mechanical lifting devices, etc.
  • Training: purchases of training materials like in-service programs/modules with a safety emphasis.
