According to Katharine Achor, LSC Specialist at CMS in Kansas City:  “If a long-term care facility is a non-smoking campus inside, they need a policy that says that. The fact that the facility is non-smoking must be posted at the entrances, shall be included in the facility policy and shall be enforced. In non-smoking facilities, secondary ‘No Smoking’ signage is not required in areas of use or storage. Where the trans-filling of liquid oxygen occurs, signage is still required (refer to Compressed Gas Association (CGA), P-series).”
